I bought these porcelain plates because I needed their easels. They are 8' porcelain plates with religious quotations. Some people like them. I prefer to transform them through decoupage.

I simply cut a round piece from a sepia paper with a sepia pattern and some vintage poultry images.

I applied a coat of gesso on the back of the paper and glued it on the letters. I let it dry.

Then I glued the poultry image. Ten coats of acrylic varnish, let it dry and sanded. More ten coats , let it dry and then applied two coats of clear oil based varnish. I did some embellishment with a black marker and a rim with the gold leafing pen.

I did a set of three using the vintage poultry images.
